2026 Projects

In 2026, Rewild Ecological is leading four projects across the Northeast. We are authoring Ecology of New Hampshire's 48 4,000-Foot Mountains: A Natural History Trail Guide to the White Mountains; leading a comprehensive floristic inventory of The Bowl Research Natural Area—one of the finest remaining old-growth forests in the White Mountains—in partnership with the Wonalancet Out Door Club and the U.S. Forest Service; leading the peer-reviewed publication Distribution, Status, and Flora of Northern Atlantic Coastal Plain Heathland and Grassland, the first region-wide assessment of the distribution, flora, and conservation status of this globally imperiled ecosystem; and serving as botanical consultants for a scientific organization conducting long-term vegetation monitoring of imperiled sandplain grasslands on Martha's Vineyard.
